Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for an HR Manager, in Johannesburg.
Responsibilities:
Human Resources Administration:
Drafting of Restraint of trades, Letter of Appointments and Non-disclosure Agreements.
Maintain Human Resources Data Bases and provide reports as required.
Filing and updating of personnel files.
All administration surrounding disciplinary hearing (issue notice, arrange chairman, venues, attend and prepare minutes, attendance register, issue sanction, prepare all paperwork)
Recruitment:
Advertising of vacancies internally and externally, screening CVxe2x80x99s.
Conducting first-round interviews with the recruiting manager, reference checking of shortlisted incumbents.
Coordinate response handling: receive all CVxe2x80x99s, shortlisting candidates, schedule/prepare interviews, conducting interviews with Line Management and ITC and conduct reference checks according to the prescribed format for all applicants recommended for employment.
Regretting of unsuccessful incumbents, preparing offer letters and on-boarding documents.
Skills Development:
Coordination and communication of training interventions and preparing for interventions when required.
Designing of training material relating to the needs of the business.
Employment Equity:
Provide reports for Annual EE reporting.
Ensure that EE Forum meetings are taking place.
Assist Management in the collation of EE pack and distribute to stores.
Payroll:
Process payroll and update all EE movement on the payroll system.
Employee Relations:
Prepare charges and accompanying paperwork for all ER Cases accurately and timeously.
Consult, advise, guide and support Line Managers around best practice and Labour legislation.
Collate disciplinary documents and ensure this filed for each employee.
Investigate grievances, appeals and CCMA referrals timeously.
Terminations:
Issuing exit documents and conducting exit interview.
Requirements:
Matric and relevant Human Resources qualification.
+6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources.
Must have Payroll experience.
Knowledge of employment legislation.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office and Excel.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Full understanding of Human Resources functions and best practices.
