HR Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior HR Manager to lead and manage all HR functions across a group of companies. This role requires a strong generalist HR background with exceptional expertise in Industrial Relations (IR). The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, hands-on professional who thrives in an operational environment and has a proven track record in labour law compliance, CCMA representation, and strategic HR initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
xe2x9cx85 Develop, review, and implement HR policies and best practices
xe2x9cx85 Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes
xe2x9cx85 Facilitate training & development initiatives
xe2x9cx85 Oversee payroll administration for all group companies
xe2x9cx85 Plan and manage the salary budget
xe2x9cx85 Handle all labour legislation matters, including IR negotiations and dispute resolution
xe2x9cx85 Represent the company at the CCMA and other regulatory bodies
xe2x9cx85 Develop and maintain Employment Equity plans
xe2x9cx85 Manage BBBEE compliance, including skills development and management control
xe2x9cx85 Oversee SETA submissions and claims
xe2x9cx85 Implement succession planning strategies
xe2x9cx85 Drive performance appraisal processes
xe2x9cx85 Ensure compliance with Bargaining Council agreements (BCCEI)
Required Skills & Experience:
xe2x9cx94 10+ years experience as an HR generalist
xe2x9cx94 Strong knowledge of Labour Law (LRA, BCEA, EE, Skills Development Act)
xe2x9cx94 Proven CCMA track record
xe2x9cx94 SDF experience (Skills Development Facilitator)
xe2x9cx94 Proficiency in HRIS and Advanced Excel
xe2x9cx94 Ability to multitask and work autonomously
xe2x9cx94 Excellent communication and project management skills
xe2x9cx94 Hands-on, operational HR approach with a dynamic and determined mindset
Qualifications & Prerequisites:
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources (or equivalent)
xe2x9cx85 Clear credit & criminal record
xf0x9fx93x9c Verification of highest qualification
xf0x9fx93x9e Two valid references
xf0x9fx9ax97 Valid South African drivers license
