Franschhoek Wine Tram is a popular hop-on hop-off tour in Franschhoek that offers passengers a unique and leisurely way to experience the Franschhoek Valley. Passengers journey through rolling vineyards on a double-deck railway tram and an open-air tram-bus, stopping at some of South Africa's oldest and most distinguished wine estates. The tour provides unparalleled views of the valley and vineyards, along with a narration on the history of Franschhoek and wine cultivation in the valley.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an

HR Manager

at Franschhoek Wine Tram. The HR Manager will be responsible for leading and executing all aspects of human resources management, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, compliance, and workforce planning. The role is critical in fostering a positive workplace culture, supporting leadership in achieving business goals, and ensuring that HR policies, processes, and practices align with labour legislation and industry standards.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of South African labour law and HR compliance requirements Experience in exercising disciplinary processes Proven experience in HR management or senior HR generalist roles Ability to design and implement HR policies and procedures Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills Strong administrative and organizational capabilities Experience in recruitment, onboarding, and training processes Ability to advise management and employees on HR matters with discretion and professionalism HR-related qualifications (Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management or equivalent) Experience in the hospitality, tourism, or transport industry is advantageous Proficiency with HR information systems and MS Office Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills Experience in company benefits/funds and administration of them High level of emotional intelligence and a people-focused mindset
Requirements

Willing to relocate and/or commute to the business location Own a reliable vehicle Hold a valid driving licence Able to handle HR and employee relations matters with urgency and professionalism
Remuneration

R60 000.00 per month


Depending on experience and candidate
