THE OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our growing team. You will be instrumental in supporting our diverse workforce across multiple practice locations, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all HR operations. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Recruitment & Onboarding:
Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from job advertising and screening to scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks.
Oversee seamless onboarding for new employees, including induction programmes, documentation, and system access.
Develop and maintain a talent pipeline for critical roles.
Employee Relations:
Provide guidance and support to employees and management on HR policies, procedures, and labour relations matters.
Assist in resolving employee grievances and disciplinary issues in accordance with South African labour law.
Promote a positive and productive work environment.
Performance Management:
Support the implementation and administration of performance management processes.
Assist with performance reviews, objective setting, and development plans.
Training & Development:
Identify training needs and coordinate relevant training programmes.
Facilitate employee growth and career development initiatives.
Compensation & Benefits:
Assist with payroll inputs and HR data management.
Support the administration of employee benefits and leave management.
HR Administration & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
Ensure compliance with all relevant South African labour legislation (e.g., LRA, BCEA, EE Act, POPIA, COIDA).
Prepare HR reports and analytics.
Policy Development & Implementation:
Assist in the development, review, and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
General HR Support:
Act as a point of contact for HR-related queries.
Support various HR projects and initiatives as required.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
HR certification (e.g., SABPP) is advantageous.
Experience:
Minimum of 7+ years of comprehensive HR management experience, with proven leadership abilities and strategic input, preferably within the healthcare sector.
Knowledge:
In-depth knowledge of South African labour legislation (LRA, BCEA, EE Act, POPIA, etc.).
Understanding of HR best practices across various functions.
Skills & Attributes:
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
High level of discretion and confidentiality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic environment.
