A leading pharmaceutical company has a vacancy for an HR Lead to lead the South African HR operations. This is a high-impact role responsible for driving HR strategy, compliance, talent management, and transformation initiatives across the business units.
Key Responsibilities:

• Shape and implement HR strategy aligned with business goals
• Lead talent acquisition, performance management, and development initiatives
• Foster a positive, high-performance workplace culture
• Advise senior management on HR-related issues, trends, and best practices.
• Oversee, recruitment, employee relations, and onboarding processes to attract top talent
• Lead workforce planning initiatives and succession planning.
• Ensure compliance with South African labour laws, BBBEE, and employment equity
• Manage HR budgets and personnel costs
• Represent the company in union negotiations and labour proceedings
• Drive strategic HR projects and corporate initiatives
• Foster a culture of engagement, development, and excellence
• Provide guidance on reward, recognition, and incentive programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
• Minimum 10 years' HR experience, with at least 5-7 years in senior leadership.
• Strong knowledge of HR best practices, labour laws, and organizational development.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking, and people management skills
• Proven experience in strategic HR management, change management, and people development
• Ability to lead change, drive results, and nurture talent
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, diverse environment
