HR Generalist

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)




As our

HR Generalist,

you will be responsible for the following:

Lead and support full-cycle recruitment processes including advertising, screening, interviewing, and onboarding. Maintain HR documentation, employee records, contracts, and compliance registers. Administer and track training, inductions, and probation processes. Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and labour legislation. Coordinate employee relations matters including disciplinary hearings and counselling. Ensure compliance with HR controls, including WSP, EE, and BBBEE data tracking. Drive HR calendar events (wellness, engagement, reviews) and support ad-hoc projects. Provide strategic and operational support to management on HR-related issues.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED



Experience:



3-5 years of generalist HR experience in a fast-paced or operational environment. Proven experience in recruitment, HR compliance, and employee relations.

Qualifications:



Matric / Grade 12 or Equivalent Qualification; and Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Psychology. Valid driver's license.

Strong administrative and document control skills. Excellent verbal and written communication. Knowledge of BCEA, LRA, EEA, and Skills Development Act. Demonstrates professional maturity, sound judgement, and a balanced approach to problem solving. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS systems Sound understanding of compliance practices and reporting
