Job Description

A company in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for a HR Coordinator.
Duties & Responsibilities

  • Under general supervision, supports the effective operation and improvement of one or more HR processes.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders, creates tools and resources, and executes programs and projects.
  • Develops subject matter expertise in one or more of the following disciplines: Compensation, Benefits, International HR/Global Mobility, Employee Relations, Learning and Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Information Systems, or HR Operations.
  • Supports the efficient delivery of processes, programs and policies through the application of specialized knowledge and skills, analysis, and business acumen.
  • Responsible for HR data reporting used to determine meaningful recommendations and actions to improve overall HR service delivery.
  • May advise HR and business leaders across the organisation on best practices.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews / probation / capacity discussions with HODs to instil a performance culture within the Company.
  • Ensure continuous building employee relations within the company's culture goals.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievance, and any other issues.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of HR and Company policies and procedures as required.
  • Manage and monitor the Company's recruitment and selection process and complete recruitment for salary employees.
  • Contribute and assist (where indirect labour is required) the Company's recruitment and selection process and complete recruitment for wage employees.
  • Implement a manager an effective personnel administration system and procedures.
Desired Experience & Qualification
  • 2-3 years HR Generalist experience
  • Appropriate Bachelor's Degree &/or tertiary equivalent
  • ISO 45001
