Purpose of Role




We are seeking a dynamic and experienced

HR Business Partner

to join our team at Funda Wande. This role will support the organisation in delivering strategic and operational HR services, aligned with our mission and values. The HRBP will work closely with the leadership team to drive Talent management, organisational development, and Talent engagement initiatives.

Objectives of Role



Key Responsibilities




Develop and implement the HR strategy in alignment with Funda Wande's goals and the broader AGGPA group. Partner with leadership to align HR initiatives with organisational goals and values. Contribute to strategic planning and organisational development, ensuring HR practices support long-term sustainability and impact of Funda Wande and the AGGPA group. Lead end-to-end Talent management, including but not limited to recruitment, onboarding, performance management, workforce planning, succession and leadership development. Provide guidance on employee relations, organisational design, and change management. Drive employment equity plans with leadership and encourage initiatives which contribute to a diverse workforce Design and implement initiatives that foster a positive employee experience and organisational culture. Conduct engagement surveys and develop action plans to address feedback Manage HR reporting, budgeting, and compliance with labour legislation. Lead and support special projects and strategic initiatives across the organisation. Collaborate with People Shared Services for HR administration and payroll.

Experience and Qualifications



Qualifications & Experience




Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management Sciences, or related field (NQF Level 7) -

essential

Postgraduate Diploma or Professional Registration (NQF Level 8) -

preferred

Minimum of 2-3 years + experience in a generalist HR role, preferably in the non-profit or education sector. Minimum 5 Years as an HRBP or similar role Strong knowledge of South African labour laws (BCEA, LRA). Proven experience in organisational development, employee relations, and performance management.
