We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented

HR Administrator based in South Africa,

who is passionate about delivering an excellent employee experience and supporting the smooth running of HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a service-driven environment, enjoys working with people, and takes pride in accuracy, confidentiality, and organisation.

Able to work US-aligned hours from 13:00 to 22:00 (SAST).



Mission



They liaise between HR roles and business. They are taking tasks to support general HR management support, employee experience, talent management and helping employee with their queries and concerns. They work closely with the talent and Learning & Development (L&D) teams to drive the right performance across levels. They 'partner' with Business Leaders through specialised knowledge that helps create policies and programmes in line with an organisation's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities



Address issues raised by current employees and new hires and coordinating the various activities within the Human Resources (HR) department. It involves active participation in day-to-day activities to streamline departmental workflows, playing a key role in supporting their seniors in the overall HR operations. Maintain and update employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Maintain records of personnel-related data (personal information, leaves, turnover rates etc.) in both paper and the database and ensure all employment requirements are met. Liaise with other departments or functions (payroll, benefits, Learning & Development (L&D) etc.). Coordinate HR tasks such as background checks, preparing HR letters & other HR documents. Assist supervisors in performance management procedures. Perform orientations, onboarding and update records with new hires. Respond to internal and external HR related inquiries or requests and provide assistance. Redirect HR related calls or distribute correspondence to the appropriate person of the team. Produce and submit reports on general HR activities. Assist in ad-hoc HR projects, like collection of employee feedback. Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures and legal requirements. Contribute to conflict resolution efforts within the team. Individual contributor focusing mainly on local services except for shared services.
