Position Title: Human Resources Administrator


Location: Woodmead Johannesburg



JOB PURPOSE



Responsible for daily HR Administrative activities that meet the needs of the Company within its human resources processes/procedures and framework. Ensure compliance within recruitment, OHS, COIDA and BCEA.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED.



Grade 12 with at least 3-5 years' experience in HR Consulting experience. Post Grade 12 qualification i.e. Certificate, Diploma or Degree related to Human Resources Management. 1-3 years' SAGE experience. Planning and organizing skills. Computer literacy( Advanced on Microsoft Excel and Microsoft forms) Presentation, and communication skills. Adhering to principles and values. Goal orientated and driven. Delivering results and meeting customer expectations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:



Recruitment



Manage and co-ordinate the recruitment process within the business.
o Upload new employees on the sage platform.

o Ensure that all employees have nominated beneficiary forms for all risk benefits.

Order new and probation uniforms for new employees. Co-ordinate the annual uniform process- gathering of data, ordering. Reconciliation of uniform order invoices and addressing queries from restaurants and the supplier. Facilitate Extra uniform orders and monitoring of recoveries - Period Recons Actively review and manager staff compliment. Draft Vacancy adverts for Restaurant vacancies. Check the quality of recruitment packs and ensure that all documents are at the required standard. Conduct the necessary validation check through MIE. Draft and circulate Employment contracts. Generate Employee numbers. Maintaining and updating staff records- by organizing and updating personnel records for all restaurant teams

Communication and Innovation :



Communicate all updates and Changes in HR Policies - signed off by the people development manager. Coordinate HR projects, meetings, and training sessions. Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications. Assist in setting up HR Department meeting (set the venue, communicate the dates, and circulate agenda Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) and take minutes. Compile the HR Newsletter and circulate every Period (Birthdays, Long Service and Promotions) Designing innovative ways to effectively communicate HR related initiatives through technology. Data collection through surveys from time to time or as required.

Compliance :



Staying up to date with all the latest changes to BCEA, EEA, SDA, OHS Act and gazette compliance. Manage and Co-ordinate all labour inspections (COIDA, Health and Safety, BCEA) by ensuring that the restaurants receive the required documents on the required date. Ensure that stores have the necessary labour charts and files as per BCEA through audits. Ensure that the store has protective gear in relation to the Health Safety Act ( Freezer Jackets, Heat gloves and safety shoes) Consolidation of Health and Safety quarterly meeting minutes and communication with the relevant stakeholders. Consolidate the quarterly EE and skills development minutes and communicate with the relevant stakeholders. Manage the IOD process, by obtaining the documents from the HRO and capturing on the comp easy platform - Do follow ups to ensure the loop is closed.

Reporting and Monitoring :



Provide reporting on HR related functions and KPI `s on a weekly, Period and Quarterly basis. Review Reports and escalate exceptions to the relevant stakeholders.
