Job Description


AIM OF POSITION
This role has a dual purpose:
1) HR Administrator: To ensure effective administration is conducted and all information is recorded and stored accurately and timeously, and to co-ordinate HR activities Nationally.
2) HR Analytics: To support an effective and efficient HR function through processes, systems, data, analytics, and metrics. To improve the link between people and data, provide insights that lead to data-driven recommendations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS
1.1 Perform and co-ordinates Human Resource practices and activities.

  • Work with payroll to ensure Sage payroll application is updated and configured accurately.
  • Compilation of statistics for various legislative reports.
  • Perform other HR duties and projects as may be required and assigned from time to time and in accordance with the companyxe2x80x99s standards and policies.
  • Co-ordinate Transformation forum meetings.
  • Responsible for Employment Equity Administration of quarterly national meetings.
1.2 Responsible for the complete Recruitment and Selection function.
  • Provide the full recruitment function from job descriptions, advertising, recruitment and selection, administration of selection, conducting interviews, reference checks, offers of employment and induction for Head Office positions.
  • Liaise with external recruitment agencies regarding new or replacement positions.
  • Compile, obtain approval, and place adverts.
  • Ensure all candidates for recruitment are listed in the recruitment register and send the short list to management.
  • Ensure verification of candidatexe2x80x99s credentials (MIE Checks).
  • HR Induction training and other adhoc training as and when required.
1.3 Assist with IR Functions
  • Represents Human Resources at internal grievance and disciplinary hearings and prepares supporting documentation if required.
2.1 Enable use of HR and People data to provide valuable insights.
  • Evaluate, recommend, and implement changes to improve data, analytics, and metrics in HR to meet the short and long-term business requirements of HR.
  • Assist in compiling HR monthly reports
2.2 Contribute to making HR and people analytics part of way of working.
  • Present data, trends, and business implications to technical and non-technical colleagues using clear and understandable written & oral communication.
  • Master data management
2.3 Collaborate closely with team and stakeholders.
  • Part of the global HR Operations, Systems and Analytics team, and will work in tight collaboration with team members to enable and drive the HR function globally to be more effective, efficient and fact-based.
  • Contribute to the success of the HR Operations, Systems and Analytics team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or Industrial /Organizational Psychology.
  • 2-3years HR Administrator experience
  • Must have knowledge of Bargaining Council Agreement (MIBCO or other)
  • Must ideally have experience within the Automotive sector
  • Knowledge of HR Related legislation
  • Microsoft Excel-Intermediate
  • Basic knowledge of Employment Equity legislation and process
  • Must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence (code 08
