How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
In this position the incumbent will be responsible for monitoring and coordinating Fillers as well as supervise the safe and efficient work activities of sorting, pre checking and filling medical gasses in line with Work Instructions whilst maintaining housekeeping in the Filling area.
Maintain and ensure the reliability of pumps, filling equipment and cylinder moving equipment making sure they are kept in a good safe working condition. Check and monitor the quality of the medical gas packaging and ensure that the Quality procedures and Pharmacopeia requirements are adhered to
Ensure all administration and paperwork is carried out, monthly reports are available, daily production figures are posted in NAV each morning and that the filing production control cards are completed and signed off. Ensure production targets are reached and the supply of medicinal gas to customers is attained. Ensure daily stock count is done and participate in stock takes
Communicate with Millwright technicians during breakdowns and maintenance requirements. Participate in internal and external audits in conjunction with the Facility Manager. Participate in carrying out evaluations and appraisals in conjunction with the Facility Manager
Pass on instructions to shift workers, Ensure shifts keep empties flowing through the plant, Empty platform to have minimum cylinders (empties), Fill all empties above demand, Ensure quality of products is kept. Ensure cylinders for repair or testing are moved to the repair station, Policy of empty cylinders to be filled must be adhered to, once demand is met, fill empties into stock.
Sustain morale, a high level of training and discipline of shift workers, Ensure that cylinders are moved safely and securely around the plants, Maintain all admin xe2x80x93 ensure all figures are available for monthly reports xe2x80x93 ensure daily production figures are posted on the system each morning.
