Job Description
Housekeeping Candidate needed for a Retirement village in Upington.
The ideal candidate should:
Work independently;
Have good manners and work ethic;
Be hardworking;
Available to work from Monday to Sunday and work flexible hours between 6am-6pm;
Ability to work under pressure;
Have a minimum of Grade 12/Matric;
Previous experience a must - preferably in hospitality/healthcare.
Must live in the surrounding areas or able to travel.
Personal Traits:
Good communication skills; MUST be able to speak Afrikaans
Reliability is essential.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops; Dust and polish furniture and equipment; Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy; Sort, count, and mark clean linens; Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork, waxing and polishing as necessary; Cleaning Residents rooms, sweeping and vacuuming, dusting etc. Wash dishes and clean kitchens, cooking utensils, and silverware; Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts;
