The puporse of the Houskeeping Supervisor is to support the Executive Housekeeper by supervising daily operations and ensuring consistent service delivery.This role is ideal for a hands-on hospitality professional with a strong eye for detail, a passion for service excellence, and the ability to thrive in a fast paced environment.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a housekeeping supervisory role Lodge or safari lodge experience highly advantageous Strong understanding of housekeeping standards and procedures Good communication skills (English essential) Ability to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays Comfortable working in a remote lodge environment Exceptional attention to detail - understands luxury lodge standards Strong leadership skills - confident supervising and motivating a diverse team Hands-on and proactive - leads by example on the floor Reliable, honest, and organised Calm under pressure during busy changeovers Guest-focused mindset with pride in presentation

Duties and Responsibilities

Supervise daily housekeeping operations for guest rooms and public areas Ensure rooms are prepared to lodge standards for arrivals and turn-downs Conduct thorough room inspections and quality checks Manage linen, cleaning supplies, and stock control Train, guide, and support housekeeping staff Prepare duty rosters and manage staff attendance Work closely with front office and maintenance teams Ensure health, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met * Handle lost & found procedures professionally
