The Housekeeping Supervisor at Toro Lodge is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. This role involves supervising and training housekeeping staff, managing cleaning schedules, conducting inspections, and ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and in line with lodge standards and health and safety requirements.
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience in hospitality housekeeping.
Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
Attention to detail and a passion for cleanliness.
Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise daily housekeeping operations and allocate duties.
Conduct room inspections and ensure standards are met consistently.
Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and linen.
Train and motivate housekeeping staff.
Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and with front office for room status updates.
Ensure adherence to health, hygiene, and safety standards.
