Requirements:

Main Duties & Responsibilities

xe2x96xaa Cleaning the guest's room and bathroom according to departmental standards.

xe2x96xaa Stock the linen trolley with correct linen, guest supplies and ensure the trolley and linen store room is kept neat and tidy.

xe2x96xaa Maintain hygiene standards throughout the property by ensuring constant cleaning and sanitising of all touch points.

xe2x96xaa Ensure all housekeeping stock items are returned to stores to avoid wastage and to control cost.

xe2x96xaa Performs any other duties as assigned by Housekeeping Management.

xe2x96xaa Dust lamps, light bulbs and checks all lights are in good working condition.

xe2x96xaa Dust skirting boards and all furniture pieces in guest rooms.

xe2x96xaa Vacuum the carpet in guest rooms and corridors.

xe2x96xaa Mop and wash the bathroom and bedroom floor surfaces.

xe2x96xaa Ensure that the flowers in the guest room are fresh, clean vases and fill with clean water.

xe2x96xaa Wipe and clean balcony furniture and sweep and mop the balcony tiles.

xe2x96xaa Remove any in room dining trays from the guest room.

xe2x96xaa Clean cups, saucers and coffee station in guest rooms.

xe2x96xaa Replenish coffee, tea and milk and other requirements.

xe2x96xaa Replace and add required guest amenities and collateral.

xe2x96xaa Replenish the laundry bags, and laundry and dry-cleaning slips.

xe2x96xaa Report all lost and found items to Security.

xe2x96xaa Report guest valuables found in the guest rooms.

xe2x96xaa Report any maintenance defects in the rooms and corridors when necessary.

xe2x96xaa Complete the discrepancy room report on a daily basis.

xe2x96xaa Complete the LQA checklist on a daily basis according to departmental standard.

xe2x96xaa Ensure that all assigned rooms are clean and inspected by the end of your shift.

xe2x96xaa Ensure proper use and care of all cleaning equipment.

xe2x96xaa Assist in other areas of the Housekeeping Department as and when required.

Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience

xe2x96xaa 2 years' experience in a similar position, within a 5-star environment (advantageous).

xe2x96xaa Team and goal orientated.

xe2x96xaa Previous experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products.
