MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Matric Certificate or equivalent is preferred. Certifications: Basic training in the safe handling of cleaning chemicals is advantageous.
Familiarity with health and safety standards is a plus.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

6 months to 1 year of experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or a similar role,
preferably in a commercial, retail, or industrial environment.

Experience in maintaining large facilities, including office spaces, retail stores, and
warehouses, is highly desirable.

Cleaning Expertise:

a) Proficient in various cleaning techniques, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and

sanitizing surfaces.

b) Skilled in using and maintaining cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor

buffers, and automated cleaning machines.

c) Example: Experience in deep-cleaning warehouse floors using industrial cleaning

equipment.

Knowledge of Cleaning Materials:

a) Familiarity with different types of cleaning agents and chemicals, including their

appropriate use and safety protocols.

b) Understanding of eco-friendly cleaning practices and the ability to select the right

products for various surfaces.

Time Management and Organizational Skills:
a) Ability to manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks to ensure all areas are cleaned

according to schedule.

b) Strong organizational skills to maintain cleaning supplies and ensure efficient workflow.

Attention to Detail

a) Keen eye for detail to ensure thorough cleaning, identifying areas needing extra

attention or maintenance.

b) Ability to spot and address cleanliness issues quickly, maintaining a high standard of

hygiene.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R5000,00 - R5700,00 per month
