We are seeking a highly experienced, dedicated, and meticulous Live-In Housekeeper to join our team at a prestigious guest house in the vibrant Blouberg area. Responsibilities:
Perform thorough cleaning and tidying of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to the highest standards.
Manage laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding of linen and guest clothing.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and guest amenities, ensuring adequate stock levels.
Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly.
Adhere strictly to health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Assist with guest requests and ensure a comfortable and welcoming environment.
Potentially assist with light meal preparation if required (depending on the establishment).
Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of proven experience as a Housekeeper in a hotel or guest house environment.
Minimum education: Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
Demonstrated ability to maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness and organisation. Reliable, trustworthy, and possesses a strong sense of responsibility. Excellent time management and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills.Must be willing to live on-site (accommodation provided).
