Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 08h00 - 18h00, flexibility to be expected on the start and end times

A family is looking for a HOUSE MANAGER & AU PAIR for their 8 years old and 9 years old

Area:

Currently in Gordons Bay, will be in Somerset West within 2026

Ages:

8 years old and 9 years old

Working hours:

Monday - Friday: 08h00 - 18h00, flexibility to be expected on the start and end times

Duties:

House Manager duties within the mornings - such as grocery shopping, errands for the mother and children as well as the home, assisting with cooking of meals for the home, management of home staff. In the afternoons, the candidate will be required to collect the children from school, transport to and from extra murals, supervise and assist with homework, ensure the children pack their bags for the following day, pack lunch boxes, assist with anything childcare related as well as general supervision. Mom does travel for work and the candidate will be required to sleep over on occasion as well as drop the children at school, assist with occasional babysitting.

Requirements:

Bilingual (Afrikaans and English), female candidate aged 25 years old plus, minimum3 years driving experience, organised, timeous and flexible

Start date:

ASAP start - permanent contract

Salary:

R18 000 per month (gross, before deductions), automatic bakkie provided for childcare duties

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.

Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.

Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.

Must have a clear criminal record

Must have a passion for children

Must have Matric

Must have a South African ID document.
