Key Responsibilities:
As a Hotel Front Office Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our front desk. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Exceptional Opera Skills: Demonstrate proficiency in Opera PMS to efficiently manage reservations, check-ins, and other front office functions.
  • Front Office Systems and Procedures: Possess a deep understanding of front office systems and procedures to maintain a high level of efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Supervision: Lead and inspire our reception staff, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
  • Guest Relations: Skillfully address guest complaints with tact and professionalism, turning challenges into opportunities to exceed expectations.
  • Rostering and Staff Management: Assist in staff rostering, ensuring optimal coverage and maintaining a harmonious work environment.
  • Procedural Adherence: Ensure that correct front office procedures are consistently followed at the desk, maintaining the highest standards of service.
Qualifications:
  • Proven Experience: A minimum of [3] years of experience as a Hotel Front Office Supervisor in a busy corporate hotel setting.
  • Opera Proficiency: Exceptional skills in Opera PMS software.
  • Systematic Understanding: Thorough knowledge and practical experience in front office systems and procedures.
  • Leadership Skills: Ability to effectively supervise reception staff and lead by example.
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to handle guest complaints with grace and resolve issues to the satisfaction of all parties involved.
  • Rostering Experience: Previous experience in assisting with staff rostering.
  • Matric and relevant hospitality qualifications.
  • Ability to work shifts. Own transport to work and back.
