We are looking for a competent Hostess to join our hospitality team located at our head office in Tokai, Cape Town. This position combines general support duties with front-of-house responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and providing a welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet, welcome, and host our staff, guests, and clients in a friendly and professional manner. Maintain and organise the kitchen, bar area, and meeting rooms. Assist with setting up and breaking down workspaces, meeting rooms, event setups, communal areas, and lunches. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks as required (e.g., surfaces, meeting rooms, coffee stations, etc.). Support with internal deliveries and stock controls within the premises. Help manage inventory of basic supplies and notify management of low stock levels. Follow all health and safety procedures, including high hygiene protocols.

Requirements:

2-3 years' experience in a similar role (hostess, general assistant, or front-of-house) (advantageous) Hospitality experience (advantageous) Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Professional appearance and attitude. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A good understanding of workplace hygiene and food preparation safety standards. Physically fit and able to carry out manual tasks when required. Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends or after hours, if or when needed.
