Job Summary ?F&B VACANCY ALERT? ? Position: Hospitality Duty Manager ? Location: Greater Hoedspruit, Limpopo ? Property Type: 5? Luxury Game Lodge ? Role Overview A 5? luxury lodge is seeking a Hospitality Duty Manager to support the Food & Beverage Manager in overseeing Guest Delight services, Beverage Control, and Dining Operations . This is a dynamic, guest-facing position that combines elements of Restaurant Management, Beverage Control, and Team Leadership. The successful candidate will ensure seamless lodge dining operations, world-class guest interaction, and strict beverage stock control, while also leading and motivating a service team to deliver consistently exceptional experiences. ? Key Responsibilities Deliver tailor-made guest experiences through warm interaction and exceptional service. Oversee daily dining operations (tea, breakfast, lunch, high tea, dinner, bush dinners, and special drink stops). Manage and motivate the Guest Delight Service Team, ensuring training, performance, and service excellence. Handle beverage stock control: purchasing, receiving, cellar & fridge control, issuing, reconciling, and monthly stocktakes. Support the Food & Beverage Manager with supplier relationships, invoices, GRVs, and administrative tasks. Assist with lodge guest arrivals, departures, and site inspections. Ensure compliance with hospitality service standards, food & beverage presentation, and safety regulations. ? Candidate Profile Energetic; service-driven, and passionate about guest interaction. Strong leadership, mentoring, and motivational skills. Organised; proactive, and detail-focused with strong numerical ability. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a sense of humour and adaptability. Good knowledge of food, wine, and beverage stock systems. ? Minimum Requirements Hospitality or Lodge Management Diploma. 3 - 5 years' experience in a 5? boutique lodge or Big 5 safari environment . Strong beverage knowledge and stock control experience . Experience in hospitality training and staff development. Computer literate (PAN knowledge advantageous). Fluent in English (written and spoken). Valid Code 8 Driver's License and own transport. South African ID number. Preference will be given to applicable BBBEE Candidates. Unfortunately; no pets or dependents (live-in position). ? Salary & Benefits R14;000 - R16,000 per month (negotiable, depending on experience). Live-in with meals on duty. Pension fund contributions. 21 days on / 7 days off work cycle. 15 days annual leave.
