Role Overview:

We are looking for a caring, adaptable, and engaging Homeschooling Assistant who has a natural way with children. The ideal candidate will be able to confidently teach and support multiple subjects across Grades 2 to 9, while creating a supportive, inspiring, and interactive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach and support learners in a variety of subjects (Grades 2-9), following the homeschooling curriculum and approach. Adapt lessons to individual learner needs, encouraging critical thinking and problem-solving. Create a warm, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture. Build positive relationships with learners and parents to foster trust and collaboration. Encourage creativity, independence, and a love of learning. Provide feedback and progress updates to parents. Support group activities, projects, and special events.

Requirements:

A natural affinity with children and a genuine love for teaching. Confidence in teaching across multiple subjects (Maths, English, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Creative Arts, etc.). Ability to engage children of different ages and learning levels in a small-group setting. Patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills. Previous teaching or tutoring experience is an advantage, but passion and connection are equally valued.
