Home Loan Specialist - Cape TownFull job descriptionThe responsibility of the Home Loan Sales Consultant is to convert bond leads into granted bonds and cross sell internal product range. The role also requires an individual who creates new opportunities for business and adds value to existing partners. As a home loan consultant, you will work with individuals and businesses to assess their financial needs and advise them on the best loan options available to them. You must have excellent communication skills and be able to explain complex financial concepts to clients in a clear and understandable way.Key Responsibilities: A strong ability to identify and anticipate customers' financial needs. Successfully originate and process mortgage loan applications. Ensure smooth and timely closure of loans with minimal issues. Ensure that all loans meet regulatory and company guidelines. Accurately assess the financial health and creditworthiness of applicants. Maintain a high level of knowledge about mortgage products, market conditions, and i ndustry trends. Identify opportunities to cross-sell or upsell additional financial products Work effectively with other team members and departments to meet organizational goals.Education: MatricExperience: 3- 5+ years' home loan sales experiencePrevious banking (home loans) and/or real estate experience and existing relationships with industry, i.e. real estate agents, attorney PROs, Portal Relationship Managers, etc., essential.Skills: Structuring Social skills Presenting Results-orientatedPerforming under pressure.Job Type: Permanent
