About Free State Oil
Free State Oil (Pty) Ltd ("FSoil"), a subsidiary of the VKB Group, is a leading soybean processor and marketer of soybean products. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Trader to join our team at our Head Office in Reitz, Free State.

The Role
You'll be part of our finance team, helping manage daily operations, reconciliations, trading admin and support the hedging function. It's a role where curiosity meets precision, and where your ideas and energy can make a real impact.
What You'll Do

• Support the execution of hedging and trading strategies.
• Keep data sharp, accurate, and up to date.
• Research markets and spot opportunities or risks.
• Prepare daily reports and reconciliations.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth operations.

Who You Are

• A recent graduate or early career professional in Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and confident with numbers.
• Skilled in MS Excel (bonus if you know other data tools).
• Someone who thrives under pressure and stays curious.
• Eager to learn from others while bringing your own energy to the team.
