Heavy Duty Earth Moving Diesel Mechanic – Mining Industry – Northern Cape
Job Description
Our client, a leading provider of comprehensive mining solutions servicing the mining and construction industry, is seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join their team in the Northern Cape. The company specialises in large open-cast mining operations (quarries) and runs a fleet including excavators (Volvo, Komatsu, Sany) and dump trucks (Bell 30t-50t).
Minimum Requirements:
Matric + Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
3-5 years' post-qualification experience
Advanced knowledge of plant hire vehicles (excavators & dump trucks)
Strong understanding of diesel engines, electrical systems & diagnostics
Proficiency in maintenance tools, repair equipment & diagnostic software
Valid driver's license
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills
Willingness to relocate to the Northern Cape
Package & Remuneration
Salary: Market Related Depending on the experience
