BACKGROUND
The Herding for Health programme is a collaborative initiative led by Peace Parks Foundation and Conservation International (CI), implemented across multiple African countries. Herding for Health supports communal farmers to improve rangeland health, livestock productivity, and biodiversity conservation while unlocking climate finance and market access. The programme combines indigenous knowledge with scientific methods, engaging communities in restoring degraded landscapes, building resilience, and improving livelihoods.

You are detail oriented with a passion to support the team in reaching their goals and targets. The ideal candidate is highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a passion for systems that enable impact at scale. You are flexible and willing to travel to rural or remote Herding for Health implementation sites when needed.
You must be eligible to live and work in South Africa without employer's sponsorship.
JOB PURPOSE
The Programme Administrator plays a vital support role in the smooth day-to-day functioning of the Herding for Health Programme. The position is responsible for administrative coordination, knowledge management, events management and communication facilitation with various partners.
