Is responsible for selling health-related products or services while handling administrative tasks such as processing applications, managing customer records, and coordinating between clients and healthcare providers.
Description
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Phone prospects and quote on various medical aid options (existing clients and Discovery Health leads)
• Following up on information sent and answering all questions client has in order to select the correct plan.
• Processing all new business applications:
• Submitting application
• Ensuring all underwriting requirements are received from client and submitted to Discovery
• Ensuring membership is activated according to SLA
• Ensuring client receives confirmation of acceptance
• Processing all addition of dependent and registration of new baby requests
• Completing Health FNAs
• Processing change of broker requests
• Servicing for all medical aid clients on our book
• Assisting with claims queries
• Processing changes (i.e. banking details, contact details ext)
• Request of duplicate membership cards
• Tax certificate requests
• Authorisation queries
• Removing staff from company billing
• Employer billing assistance ext
• Resolving debit order queries
• Request of international travel letters
• Processing all Key care income verification queries on a quarterly basis
• Phoning for appointments
• Following up on quotes sent to clients
• Handling incoming queries from clients
• Health year-end review with all medical aid clients on our book
• Seeing clients and companies for presentation on medical aid options.

• Completion of the RE Exam and any other industry related qualifications would be highly beneficial.

• Two years industry related experience and a sound knowledge of Insurance.
• Experience on the X Plan insurance package would be highly beneficial

• Word, Excel, Outlook is a must
