We are looking for a dedicated Health & Safety Officer to join our team and take the lead in maintaining a safe, compliant, and productive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain Health and Safety policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislation and company requirements. Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and site inspections. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and recommend corrective actions. Lead safety training, awareness campaigns, and toolbox talks. Ensure compliance with OHSA and relevant automotive/manufacturing regulations. Collaborate with management and HR to promote a culture of safety and wellbeing. Assist with HR compliance and employee wellness initiatives (advantageous but not the main focus).
Minimum Requirements:

Relevant Health & Safety qualification (SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent). Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in Health & Safety within a manufacturing or automotive environment. Strong knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety legislation and compliance requirements. Excellent communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills. Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. HR experience or background will be a strong advantage.
