Health & Safety Officer Manufacturing

Heavy Engineering Environment. A well-established industrial operation is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety Officer to lead site safety management and drive compliance with statutory, corporate, and ISO standards. This role is central to embedding a strong safety culture across a complex, high-risk engineering environment.
This role suits a structured, detail-driven safety professional with strong communication skills and the confidence to influence safety standards across all levels of the operation.
Minimum Requirements

• National Diploma in Safety Management
• SAMTRAC qualification
• 34 years experience as a Safety Officer in a heavy engineering or industrial environment

Technical Knowledge

• OHS Act (OSHAct)
• Risk assessments and incident investigations
• Emergency procedures
• ISO 9001
• COIDA
