Health and Safety Officer

(with ISO 45001Experience)

The Role

We are seeking a

self-driven and experienced Health and Safety Officer

to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an effective health and safety system in line with ISO 45001 standards.

Key Responsibilities

Implement and manage the company's Health and Safety policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental legislation. Maintain and monitor ISO 45001management system. Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and safety inspections. Lead incident investigations and compile detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions. Provide HSE training, awareness sessions, and induction sessions to employees. Promote a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and stakeholders as required.

Requirements

Relevant qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., SAMTRAC, NEBOSH, or equivalent). Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a similar role. Sound knowledge and practical experience with ISO 45001 system. Strong communication and reporting skills. Highly motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Valid driver's license and own transport (advantageous).
