Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in OHSE

Must have a valid driver's license (competent driver)

Higher Certificate/ Diploma in OHSE

OHSE Knowledge

Proficient in Excel, Word & PDF

Must be available to start ASAP

Reside near Parow Industrial

South African Citizenship

Responsibilities:

General Support & Administration:

Assist with inspections:

Help conduct regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

OHSE files

: Administer OHSE site files
Health & Safety Focus:

Promote safety awareness:

Help develop and implement safety campaigns, training materials, and other initiatives to raise awareness of safety procedures and best practices.

Assist with training:

Support the delivery of safety training to employees, contractors, and other relevant personnel.

Risk assessment support:

Assist in the identification, assessment, and control of workplace hazards.

Emergency preparedness:

Contribute to the development and implementation of emergency preparedness plans.

Compliance:

Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety legislation and regulations.
Environment Focus:

Environmental monitoring:

Assist with monitoring and reporting on environmental aspects of the workplace.

Environmental compliance:

Help ensure compliance with environmental regulations.

Incident investigation support:

Participate in investigations of accidents and near misses, gathering information and assisting in the development of corrective actions.

Documentation and reporting:

Assist in maintaining OHSE documentation, including risk assessments, inspection reports, and training records.

Data analysis:

Contribute to the analysis of safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Administrative tasks:

Provide general administrative support to the OHSE team, such as scheduling meetings, managing files, and preparing reports.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: Up to R6000,00 per month

Work Location: In person
