Job Description

Our client, a prestigious turnkey engineering and steel fabrication company, seeks to employ an experienced Health and Safety Administrator, on a fixed term contract, with a solid background in the Engineering sector to join their team in Cape Town.

Please note that this is a support role, requiring health and safety administration experience, specifically in a structural steel and fabrication environment, and who is flexible to work on project sites in Atlantis and surrounds.

Due to the urgency to place this role, our client will initially be considering candidates resident in Cape Town, who can start immediately

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION

• You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in providing a health and safety administrative support function in an engineering or project based environment.
• You will have experience in preparing and developing HSE documentation for project and engineering teams, as well as maintaining meticulous records, highlighting changes in legislation and ensuring new employees are inducted with a focus on Health and Safety on site.
• You will have a background of preparing for audits, assisting with customer/supplier audits and maintaining ISO 45001 documentation of a Safety Management System.
• You will be organised, meticulous, proactive and have a keen eye for detail on matters pertaining to health and safety on site.
• You must have a valid driverxe2x80x99s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
