SIVTEK is seeking a site-based SHEQ officer to drive Safety, Health, and Environmental, Quality compliance, reporting and statutory requirements on an operational project site. You will run the SHQ file, push proactive risks control, and deliver clean, on time reporting that stands up in audits & meets the client requirements.
Minimum Qualifications
Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
National Diploma in OHS/Safety Management
HIRA and Incident Investigation certificate
Legal Liability
SAMTRAC
SACPCMP certificate Valid
Administrative and Computer Literacy ( Word, Excel, Power Point, site file governance )
Knowledge of Construction Regulations, OHS Act 85 of 1993, ISO 45001 & ISO 9001 (ISO 14001 an advantage)
Valid Driver's license
Minimum 2 years SHEQ site experience (preferably power station or industrial environment)
Skills and Competencies to undertake role
Maintain and update the site SHEQ file, registers and legal compliance
Conduct daily inspections, toolboxtalks, and risk assessments
Communication, Problem-solving, reporting ability, attention to detail, and ability to manage pressure and meet deadlines
Incident Management (lead reporting and assist in investigation)
Monitor environmental compliance and housekeeping standards
Support audits and implement corrective actions
Promote SHEQ awareness across all site team
Must have a conflict Management skills
Fire Equipment Monitoring/management
First Aid Management
