We are currently seeking a Health and Safety Officer to join our client's team.As a Health and Safety Officer at Hire Resolve, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees in the workplace. You will be responsible for developing and implementing safety policies and procedures, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and providing training to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.Key responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures
• Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and potential risks
• Provide guidance and support to employees on safety best practices
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses and develop action plans to prevent reoccurrences
• Deliver safety training and orientation programs
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety
• Keep up-to-date with industry regulations and promote a culture of safety

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a Health and Safety Officer or similar role
• Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities
• Relevant certification in health and safety
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
• Experience in [specific industry] is a plus
