Job Summary Roles and Responsibilities
Implement and maintain the Health & Safety framework across all sites.
Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
Oversee training programs, First Aid readiness, and emergency preparedness.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits.
Manage safety documentation, reports, and client-specific safety files.
Lead the HSE committee and support Safety Officers with corrective actions.
Develop safety initiatives, procedures, and communication strategies.
Manage the annual budget for the Health & Safety function.
Ensure procurement of safety equipment and stock management.
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 (Matric) - Mandatory
Safety Diploma/Degree (SAMTRAC) - Mandatory
Registrations with:
IWH Professional Body
SACPCMP
MBA (Masters Building Association)
European National Standard 1004 (advantageous)
Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in construction + health & safety.
Experience with scaffolding safety (certifications highly advantageous).
Additional Training (Advantageous)
PASMA
Working-at-Heights
Scaffolding certifications
We operate nationally and travel will be a prerequisite for the position - specifically, a monthly trip to the Northern Cape will be required.
