Duties & Responsibilities



Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines in line with all relevant legislation and industry standards. Conduct regular workplace risk assessments and safety inspections to identify and mitigate hazards. Ensure compliance with all local safety regulations. Organize and deliver health and safety training programs for all employees, including inductions and refresher courses. Investigate all workplace accidents and incidents, determine root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Maintain comprehensive and accurate health and safety records, including incident reports, and training logs. Collaborate with management to promote a positive safety culture and increase employee awareness of health and safety issues. Manage emergency preparedness plans, including evacuation procedures and drills. Ensure the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE ). Capture & Ensure all admin is correct and deadlines are met Conduct stock take and control stock Performing data entry and maintaining accurate information in spreadsheets, databases, and other systems Ensure that Cash is checked daily/weekly and balances to admin with your site Manager Assist with Account Queries Updating Stock sheet Prices Uploading GRVS to Drive

Skills and Competencies



Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to explain technical information in a clear and simple way. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Proactive and detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Qualifications



Diploma or certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in a health and safety role. Knowledge of food Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and standards (e.g., OHS Act). Experience in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations. * Strong computer literacy (e.g., MS Office Suite).
