Our client is a healthcare company focusing on providing medical and administrative services to the public. Our client would like a driven and energetic individual to their team based in midrand.

:

• Manage the Tax department
• Manage, train and review tax team's work (Quality control)
• Complete and submit certain more complex tax returns (Individuals and Companies)
• Manage and involved with tax disputes such as verifications, audits, objections, appeals, payment arrangements, suspension of payments, ADR
• Reviewing and managing of various different indirect and direct taxes (VAT, EMP201, EMP501)
• Liaise with clients and manage relationships
• Liaise with the accounting department
• Liaise with SARS
• Manage and drive team targets
• Ensure that the team follows the workflow
• Ensure that Tax team is well planned on various clients and tasks to capacity and capability

Requirements:

• Experience in tax with a minimum of 4 yearsxe2x80x99 experience
• Strong knowledge of the tax legislation, the tax calculations, tax principles and the Tax Administration Act
• Good understanding of how SARS works operationally and the SARS efiling system
• Experience on Greatsoft or similar Tax Software
• Experience in Payroll (could be beneficial)
• Expert capabilities in Excel
• Great at letter drafting in Microsoft Word
• Knowledge and Experience in Statutory work xe2x80x93 CIPC/Trusts (could be beneficial)
• Experience with Microsoft Teams/Sharepoint (could be beneficial)
• Tax qualification xe2x80x93 Degree in Taxation
• Tax consultant/Tax practitioner with SAIT or similar Tax controlling body
• xe2x80x9cCan Doxe2x80x9d and winning mind set
• Team player

Remuneration:
Salary is market related
