The Head of Sportsbook is a senior leader responsible for co-shaping and executing the strategic commercial vision of sportsbook across all sports. The role drives sustainable growth, profitability and market leadership by leveraging data-driven commercial insight, customer behaviour analysis and market intelligence to optimise pricing, offers and product positioning. This role will ensure that sportsbook delivers compelling, differentiated proposition, maximises customer value and aligns vendor and internal capabilities with long-term strategic goals.
Own the commercial performance of sportsbook, driving revenue, margin and customer engagement
Define and execute pricing, offers and promotions strategy to maximise both customer value and profitability
Use analytics and market insight to guide commercial decision-making, including testing, forecasting, and performance optimisation
Identify new opportunities to differentiate the sportsbook, grow market share and improve customer retention
Set daily and seasonal pricing strategies, ensuring competitiveness across key sports
Design and implement boosts, campaigns and event-driven promotions that create value for customers and drive engagement
Use segmentation and behavioural insight to personalise offers and improve lifetime value
Help shape the sportsbook product and markets in line with commercial priorities and customer demand
Balance competitiveness with sustainable profitability through risk and exposure management
Serve as a senior business lead for vendors, ensuring the platform delivers on commercial objectives, feature enhancements and operational excellence
Monitor vendor performance, including pricing engine functionality, market coverage and responsiveness
Identify opportunities to optimise vendor-provided products and services to enhance the sportsbook commercial performance
Partner with the Head of Analytics to ensure all commercial decisions are insight-led
Work with product, marketing, and CRM teams to ensure commercial initiatives are aligned and measurable
Lead, develop and inspire the sportsbook commercial team, fostering a culture of performance, innovation and accountability
Contribute to the wider Sportsbook Leadership Team with strategic commercial insight and planning
Ensure all sportsbook activity is compliant with regulatory and responsible gambling standards
Manage exposure, limits andmarket integrity with vendors and internal risk
B Degree in Business, Economics, Sports Management or related field
7+ years' relevant experience in sportsbook, gaming or commercial betting roles
* Inclusive of 4 years' experience in a leadership role, managing commercial teams, shaping pricing strategy and delivering revenue/margin growth
