We're looking for someone with the following qualifications and experience:
A relevant qualification from a recognised institution
Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
SACE registration is essential
Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing sports department
Excellent organisational and administrative skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Confident, professional engagement with learners, staff, and parents
A proactive problem-solver with effective leadership and advisory skills
A passion for coaching and keeping up with modern coaching practices
A clear criminal record is mandatory
What you'll be responsible for:
Daily management and smooth operation of the sports department
Setting a personal example in professionalism, attendance and conduct
Building strong relationships with staff and learners
Fostering a collaborative, positive team culture
Strategic planning and forward-thinking in sports education
Enhancing coaching practice within the school
Promoting the schools' vision and building community and school partnerships
Upholding and promoting school policies and values through all activities
Maintaining high standards in coaching and sports leadership
