We currently have an opportunity for the Head of Specialised and Legal Recoveries. This role involves xc3x82 defining, implementing and monitoring effective recoveries strategy in line with business appetite. As the Head of Specialised and Legal Recoveries, you will also be instrumental in aligning the specialised recoveries strategy to the organisational strategy, helping customers wherever possible and maximising recoveries where necessary.

• LLB or higher legal qualification.
• Minimum of 10 years working with specialised collections, legal collections, Debt Review and other statutory processes.
• Debt Review qualification is an advantage.
• Conveyancing qualification is an advantage.
• Minimum of 10 years of managerial experience.

• Implementation and management of effective and compliant recoveries processes.
• Implementation and management of effective and compliant debt review process.
• Deliver net recoveries in line with business expectations.
• Manage relationship with the Debt Review outsourcing provider, track vendor compliance with SLA and contractual obligations.
• Manage and monitor NCR complaints, queries and audits.
• Function as a mandated official for Debt Review NCR related matters where you will manage, resolve, monitor and report to the business on reckless lending queries.
• Determine and implement Debt Review proposal acceptance mandate in line with business requirements.
• Define and implement operational legal processes for secured and unsecured recoveries.
• Define, implement and manage and monitor asset repossession process.
• Establish External Debt Collector (EDC) panel, manage EDC performance in line with business targets.
• Establish and execute an effective debt sale process.
• Inform board collection and recoveries strategy.
