I'm assisting my client in finding a Head of Software Engineering to spearhead innovation and modernisation across mission-critical platforms. This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll drive engineering excellence, uplift legacy systems, and shape the future of digital solutions.
Location: Sandton | Contract: Permanent | Working Model: Hybrid
What's in it for you?

Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive Agile delivery and QA integration.
  • Modernise legacy platforms

  • Partner with CIO on budgeting, capacity planning, and vendor assessments.
Preferred Profile:
  • Degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years in software development leadership.
  • Proven success in modernising legacy systems and implementing SDLC governance.
  • Bonus: Cloud architecture certifications (Azure/AWS), financial services experience.
