Head of Shared Services - Finance Finance
Gauteng - South Africa
Reporting to the CFO, this role leads the companys Shared Services function across Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Working Capital.
The focus is simple: strong controls, efficient processing, disciplined cash management, and a high-performing team that supports the business properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver the Shared Services strategy, operating model, and KPIs
- Lead AR, AP, and Working Capital, ensuring strong controls and consistent execution
- Govern credit, collections, supplier payments, and cash flow forecasting
- Drive process improvement and digitisation across shared services
- Lead and develop senior managers and specialist teams
- Identify and manage financial risk; address audit findings
- Partner with commercial and supply chain teams to improve cash conversion
- Report to ExCo and the Board on performance, risk, and working capital
- CA(SA)
- 5+ years leading a Shared Services function, ideally in FMCG
- Deep working capital, AR/AP, and financial controls experience
- Strong ERP (SAP) and reporting capability
- Confident engaging at ExCo and Board level
