Job Position: Head of SecurityRef: 4525Location: PE / KariegaSalary: Commensurate with qualification and experience: Email your CV to recruit@onlinepersonnel.co.zaQualifications / Requirements:xe2x80xa2Tertiary (Degree / Diploma) qualification in Security Risk Management, with focus on business managementxe2x80xa210 years minimum experience in the security industry of which 5 years should be in a management rolexe2x80xa2Comprehensive security experience in various security areas e.g. crisis management, investigations, operational security, international security exposure, etcxe2x80xa2 Experience with security auditing, security risk management, as well as contract and vendor negotiationESSENTIAL:xe2x80xa2Capable of managing, advising, guiding and leading a security teamxe2x80xa2Management and leadership skills xe2x80xa2Negotiation and communication skillsxe2x80xa2Presentation skillsxe2x80xa2Decision making and good judgment skillsxe2x80xa2Computer literacy xe2x80xa2Language xe2x80x93 Englishxe2x80xa2Able to communicate security-related concepts to a broad range of technical and non-technical staffxe2x80xa2Ability to operate effectively at all levels of the organizationKey Performance Areas:xe2x80xa2Work with other executives to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management and/or financial methodologyxe2x80xa2Crisis management, the Head of Security has the responsibility as the Crisis Team Officer and hence participate and contribute as a key member of the crisis management organisation to coordinate in the event of any security disaster/emergency xe2x80xa2Work with external consultants as appropriate for independent security auditsxe2x80xa2Produce weekly feedback report on approved format document for company security xe2x80xa2Approve all security and fire detection / protection fittings and devices recommended by Planning Department for new projectsxe2x80xa2Participate in planning meetings related to projects with a security and fire protection biasxe2x80xa2Assess security requirements for CAPEX and submit accordinglyxe2x80xa2Verify and approve the transport invoicesxe2x80xa2Evaluate utilisation and amend transport requirements accordingly, in negotiation with the Union (NUMSA)xe2x80xa2Develop and sustain relationships with high-level law enforcement and security organizations and private sector counterparts to ensure a complete understanding of the security environment in the countryxe2x80xa2Approve all procedures relating to the process of stolen Company vehicle recoveries and identification, on a countrywide scalexe2x80xa2Identify protection goals, objectives (MBOxe2x80x99s) and metrics consistent with corporate strategic planxe2x80xa2Oversee incident response planning including the investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary
