An exciting opportunity currently exists for an Head of Remediation and Learning & Development. The successful candidate will become an integral member of our talented, experienced, and forward-thinking team, contributing to impactful work in a supportive and growth-oriented environment.

Minimum Requirements



Purpose of the Role:

To lead the Moore SA network's remediation processes and learning & development strategy, ensuring compliance with ISQM 1, driving continuous improvement in quality management, and fostering a culture of professional growth across all member firms.


Required Qualifications & Skills:




Education: Chartered Accountant (South Africa) Experience: Minimum 5 years post training contract experience, of which 2 should preferably be in audit quality management and/or learning & development leadership roles. Technical Knowledge: ISQM 1, ISA 220, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance.

Core Skills:




Strategic planning and project management Root cause analysis and problem-solving Instructional design and training delivery Strong communication and stakeholder engagement Familiarity with MOODLE and CASEWARE will be an advantage

Duties and Responsibilities




Remediation

Leadership




Oversee the design and implementation of remediation plans following internal monitoring reviews and external inspections. Conduct root cause analysis of deficiencies and develop corrective actions at both firm and national levels. Communicate findings and remedial actions to engagement partners and the national technical committee, ensuring timely implementation and monitoring. Collaborate with Quality Management Partners to embed remedial actions into firm processes. Report on progress to the National Technical and Quality Director.

Learning & Development Strategy




Develop and execute a network-wide L&D strategy aligned with Moore SA's quality objectives and business goals. Conduct training needs analysis and design programs for technical and compliance development, based on training available within the Global and National network. Arrange training with service providers or members within the network to address gaps in the available training. * Attend the National Training Committee and support the Chairperson with any matters arising from the committee.
