Head of Procurement, Costing and Admin for Design & Build Company based in Sandton

An established Design and Build firm based in Sandton is looking for a new Head of Procurement, Head/Q.S. and Head of Admin to join their JHB office to commence January 2024.

Requirements:

This position is suitable for a Senior person

Costing experience on: main-stream construction, interiors, finishes, furniture, etc.

The Candidate must have a very strong personality who will take over an existing department

A person who can convert a quiet little data capturing team to a more holistic costing department

Ability to read and understand drawings

Be able put detailed budgets together off detailed drawings

Understand extra over allowance that may be necessary to cover all bases

Liaising with suppliers and quotations

The Candidate needs to have an experienced mind to question whether we have thought about all the necessary details within

Ideally a person from a construction background!

Salary will be determined on the candidates that come forward: +/-R35 000- R45 000, Negotiable, depending on current/recent salary, experience, qualifications, etc..
