D

uties (not an exhaustive list):




Class Teacher for either Grade 3 or 4 Lead and inspire a team of teachers to create an engaging and innovative middle school curriculum that promotes academic excellence and personal growth - values based Continuously evaluate and improve the middle school curriculum to align with best practices and emerging educational trends Oversee the budget for the middle school, ensuring efficient resource allocation to support pupils needs Foster a positive and inclusive culture that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of pupils Collaborate with parents, guardians, and the broader community to create a supportive and nurturing environment for pupils Mentor, support and develop intern teachers Participate in extracurricular activities as required Promotion of the St Peter's Prep Schools attributes and values Teach according to the St Peter's Prep Schools Best Practice pedagogy


Required Qualifications and Experience




Relevant Tertiary Qualification At least 5 years of proven experience as a Class Teacher Experience in teaching Grade 3 or 4 will be advantageous At least 5 years of proven experience in a Leadership role SACE Registration

Proven ability to lead, inspire and motivate others Put children at the heart of everything they do with an energetic and inspirational approach to girls' learning Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills Creative problem-solving skills A willingness to work as part of a team A progressive understanding of current educational trends The intention to work according to the school's ethos, specifications and policies A willingness to support and mentor, and to be mentored The flexibility, ability, and willingness to work outside school hours, when necessary A commitment to ongoing personal development and a future-orientated approach
