Head of Marketing: Executor and Strategist (Marketing SME)

The Opportunity: The Integrator and Builder
We are seeking a Head of Marketing to serve as the integrator and main powerhouse for our entire marketing function. This is a foundational, hands-on role where you will be both the marketing SME and the primary executor. You will design the marketing system that the founder, Saad, can oversee and then let run itself.
This position is ideal for someone with an entrepreneurial mindset who is comfortable doing everything from generating a content hook to managing the entire production force. Your attitude and character are considered the most important qualifications above pure skillset.
Key Responsibilities Strategy, Content Generation & Execution (Initial Hands-On Focus)

  • Content Strategy: Act as the marketing strategist and provide the vision for content delivery. This includes coming up with topics, compelling hooks, and clear Calls to Actions (CTAs) for video and course content.
  • Social Media Management: Act as the final approver and reviewer of every social media post. You will personally manage the scheduling system and oversee the entire team of individual contributors (including the existing contractor who manages posting and Kajabi).
  • Execution & Calendar Management: Manage the entire syndication strategy to ensure our high volume of content (3x a day) is posted effectively. Strategize and manage the posting calendar, defining the specific story telling and purpose of content for morning, evening, and afternoon videos.
  • Content Input: Work closely with Saad, documenting the work he is doing, strategizing the topics, and helping with posting and social media execution.
Digital Monetization & Course Management (Revenue Focus)
  • Digital Revenue Manager: Be the "ideas person" who looks at our materials and expertise, and determines, "What else can we create with this content?" This includes knowing how to monetize, how to make money off our content, and how to repurpose existing materials.
  • Course Management: Oversee the course creation process, collaborating with the existing contractor (who manages Kajabi) and the designer. You will manage getting the content from Saad, help outline courses, name them, create landing pages, ensure they are correctly organized in Kajabi, publish them, and manage the ongoing success of our existing (and future) courses (including both our very expensive courses and our shorter "pay what you can" courses).
Team Leadership & Scaling
  • Consultative Support: Act as the primary marketing consultant and powerhouse, providing strategic guidance and ideas while supporting our existing contractors.
  • Hiring Strategy: You will eventually hire the specialists underneath you. As the workflow increases and you get too busy, you will advise the founder on who needs to be hired next (e.g., graphic designer, video editor, syndication specialist).
  • Production Management: Manage the entire individual contributor force, ensuring all content (from Saad) is cascaded from the COO to the production specialists (editors, designers, etc.) and executed flawlessly.
Qualifications
  • Experience: We require someone with at least 5 years of marketing experience and a proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies for digital products/services.
  • Career Trajectory (The Sweet Spot): This is the PERFECT role for someone who has worked their way up from an individual contributor to a more strategic position but hasn't yet secured a Director or C-Suite level job. We want tenacity, oversight, and vision, but also someone who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty because, at first, this role will be VERY hands on until the other team members are hired on. The desire to grow with the business is more important than already having been a C-Suite title.
  • Intangible Product Experience (Hard Preferred): Experience working for a brand that has "intangible" products (e.g., tech, consultancy, marketing/agency, or education) is a very hard preferred requirement. Experience selling digital courses through social media is a strong nice-to-have.
  • Skills: Strong project management and team leadership skills.
  • Platform Familiarity: Familiarity with course creation platforms like Kajabi and general video editing/graphic design needs.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and comfort working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Character: Attitude and character are most important above skillset. We seek individuals who are permanent and dedicated.
Future Growth
This role offers a clear path toward building and managing a full service internal marketing team, including future hires for sponsorship and PR.
