Backed by a team of bold builders and trusted by leading financial institutions, theyre scaling rapidly across South Africa and beyond - and now theyre looking for a Head of Marketing to lead the charge in building a powerful, differentiated, and revenue-generating brand.
Were looking for a commercially-minded, creatively-driven Head of Marketing to define and own the full marketing function. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the executive team.
Youll have end-to-end ownership of brand, lead generation, marketing operations, and market positioning. From crafting full-funnel strategies to launching major campaigns and industry event activations, youll be the architect of how the company is seen, heard, and chosen by decision-makers across the financial services value chain.
Ideal Profile
10+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in a senior or head-of-role capacity.
Proven track record scaling marketing within a SaaS environment (ideally B2B, financial services-focused).
Strong command of South Africas financial services ecosystem - from banks and fintechs to regulators and enterprise buyers.
Deep experience across the full marketing mix: digital, events, PR, content, brand, and performance.
Data-driven decision-maker with solid budget management experience.
Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, product, and leadership teams.
A natural storyteller with sharp commercial instincts.
Bonus: experience in startup-to-scale-up environments or launching into new African markets.

Strategy & Execution
Develop and lead a scalable marketing strategy that drives awareness, brand equity, and revenue growth across multiple markets and buyer personas.
Budget Leadership
Own the full marketing budget, ensuring efficient spend across brand and performance channels with clear ROI tracking.
Integrated Campaigns (Above- and Below-the-Line)
Launch innovative campaigns that span digital, content, partnerships, media, and in-person activations - aligned to business objectives and pipeline targets.
Events & Industry Presence
Elevate the companys presence at major financial services events, including fintech summits, payments expos, and invite-only CxO gatherings.
Team Leadership
Lead and scale a high-performing marketing team, combining internal talent and trusted agency partners. Build a culture of experimentation, accountability, and bold thinking.
Analytics & Optimisation
Use data to constantly improve performance. Report on key KPIs (CAC, MQLs, CPL, pipeline velocity) and translate insight into action.
Messaging & Positioning
Refine the companys narrative and positioning to resonate across enterprise, scaleup, and startup buyers. Ensure messaging lands with precision and impact.
Market Intelligence
Stay deeply connected to fintech, SaaS, and financial services trends in South Africa and globally. Feed insights into product, sales, and strategy conversations.
