Job Description

A growing manufacturer in the textiles and signage industry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head of Internal Sales, in office Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm. This position is responsible for overseeing the internal sales function, ensuring efficient order processing, managing warehouse and delivery coordination, and driving sales growth. The role requires strong leadership, basic bookkeeping skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:

• Manage all customer interactions via phone and email, ensuring professional communication and high levels of customer satisfaction.

• Oversee order processing by accurately capturing and tracking orders through internal systems.

• Lead and manage the internal sales, warehouse, and delivery teams to achieve operational and sales objectives.

• Coordinate with warehouse staff and logistics partners to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.

• Generate and analyse sales performance reports, customer trends, and inventory management data using Microsoft Excel.

• Ensure professional standards of written and verbal communication across all internal and external correspondence.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of invoicing, credit control, and financial processes.

• Proven experience in internal sales or sales administration, preferably within the manufacturing or textiles sector.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) with strong reporting and analytical capabilities.

• Excellent written and spoken English with strong grammar skills.

• Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure.

• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience managing cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience in the advertising or signage textile industry will be advantageous.

• Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-focused approach.

• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines.
